Stargates, Ancient Rituals, And Those Invited Through (Part One)

Metaphysical nonsense, or high-tech mechanisms built by "the gods"?

By Thomas Horn, author of The Ahriman Gate

In Matthew 16:18, Jesus Christ said he would build his church; "and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Putting the word "hell" in context here is important because whereas the later meaning of the Greek word a/&dhß (transliterated "Hades" hah'-dace) was confused with death and the grave (Thanatos [also see Re 1:18]) at the time Jesus chose to use this word, the reference was to the person of Hades or Pluto, the god of the lower regions, and Orcus, the nether world and realm of the dead.

Why would Jesus mention a Greek deity, as if Hades were a personal, sentient combatant? Perhaps there is more than meets the contemporary religion-student's eye.

Backing up

In Hesiod's Theogony we are told of twelve pre-Olympian gods known as Titans, who ruled the Universe. These were the children of Gaia, who gave birth to the "elder" gods by cohabiting with Uranus. The important Titans included Oceanus, Tethys, Mnemosyne, Themis, Hyperion, Lapetus, and Atlas. When Uranus attempted to imprison the Titans within the body of his wife (the earth), Cronus, "the youngest and most terrible of her children," conspired with his mother and castrated Uranus with a sickle. The mutilation of Uranus separated Heaven from Earth and succeeded in freeing the Titans. When the powerful Cronus later cast the severed genitals of his father into the sea, a white foam enveloped them from which Aphrodite was born; thus the name aphros, or "foam-born."

As the newly crowned king of the gods, Cronus married his sister Rhea. Six famous god-children were born of their union: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. Mother Earth and Father Uranus warned Cronus that his offspring would someday try to overthrow and replace him as the king of the gods. Cronus therefore attempted to circumvent the possibility of threat by swallowing each child whole as it was born. Rhea was displeased and, "cunning as the night air," replaced baby Zeus with a cloth-wrapped stone which Cronus unwittingly swallowed instead. She then hid Zeus at Crete where he was fed on the milk of the goat Amalthaea and remained until adulthood, protected by the nymphs.

Years later, Zeus made Cronus regurgitate his brothers and sisters. A fierce ten-year war ensued, and the younger, more powerful Olympians overthrew the elder Titans, casting them down into Tartarus where they (except for Hecate) were to remain fettered forever. Eventually Zeus reconciled with the Titans and proclaimed Cronus the ruler of the Golden Age. Meanwhile he summoned his brothers, Hades and Poseidon, and decreed that the universe should thereafter be divided among them. The sky became the dominion of Zeus; Poseidon was chosen to rule over the sea, and the inner-earth or underworld was declared the haunt of Hades; notwithstanding the surface of the earth was determined neutral grounds—a place where sky, sea and underworld joined, and where all deities could merge.

Sky, sea, and underworld inhabited by "gods", with earth the mutual gathering ground? The Bible mentions the same as where powerful spirits are separated.

But let's go on...

Hades and the Mystery Rituals

The Thesmophoria was the most popular of the ancient Greek fertility festivals. Held in honor of Demeter—whose cult secrets were the most protected of the mystery religions—the rituals were performed inside of the inner sanctum of the Temple of Demeter (the Telesterion) and were so well-guarded by the Temple devotees that little survived to enlighten us as to what actually occurred there. Only those portions of the Thesmophoria held outside the Temple were recorded, providing a sparse historical record.

What is known is that the rituals of the Thesmophoria were based on the mythology of the abduction and rape of Persephone (Proserpina), and of Demeter's (Persephone's mother) subsequent actions in searching for her daughter. The cult's rituals, therefore, are interpreted according to the Demeter myth, which claimed that Hades—the dark god of the underworld—fell in love with beautiful Persephone.

One day as Persephone plucked flowers in a grassy meadow, Hades swooped down in his chariot and dragged her into the underworld, where he forced her to become his bride. Above ground, Demeter was distraught by her daughter's disappearance and searched the earth in vain to find her. With the help of Helios and Hecate, Demeter finally discovered the truth about what had happened. In her fury, she demanded Hades release her daughter. When he refused, she sent horrific famine upon the earth. Plants dried up; Seeds refused to sprout, and the gods began to suffer from a lack of sacrifices.

Finally, Zeus dispatched Hermes to intercede with the lord of the underworld. After great debate, Hades agreed to release Persephone if she would eat a pomegranate seed. What Persephone didn't understand was that by eating the pomegranate seed in the mystical location of the underworld, divine symmetry was created that bonded her with Hades. This ensured that the goddess would automatically return to the underworld for a third part of each year (in the winter), during which time the seeds of the ground would not grow. Persephone thus became the upperworld goddess of youth and happiness, and the underworld queen of the dead; a dual role that depicted her as both good and evil. On earth she was the goddess of the young and the friend of the nymphs who appeared in the blooming of the spring flowers (symbolizing her annual return from Hades), and in the underworld she was the dreaded wife of Hades and the Queen of Darkness who controlled the fates of deceased men.

The reenactment of such myth—the abduction and rape of Persephone—was central to the rituals of the Thesmophoria, and, as such, key to interpreting the bits of information known.

The festival of the Thesmophoria—sometimes called the Eleusinian Mysteries—lasted between three and ten days. Each day of the festival had a different name and included specific rites. A highlight of the festival was a procession from Athens to Eleusis, which was led by a crowd of children known as ephebi. The ephebi assisted in carrying the hiera (sacred objects), and in pulling a statue of Dionysus as a boy (Iacchos), and finally in the ceremonial cleansing of the initiates (candidates of the mystery religion) in the sea.

Upon arriving at Eleusis, the women organized the first day of the celebration (anodos) by building temporary shelters and electing the leaders of the camp. On the second day (nesteia) they initiated the Greater Mysteries which, according to myth, produced the cult's magical requests (a fertile harvest). Such mysteries included a parody of the abduction and rape of Persephone and the positioning of the female devotees upon the ground weeping (in the role of Demeter for her daughter) and fasting for the return of Persephone (the return of spring). The setting upon the ground and fasting also intended to transfer the "energies" of the women into the ground, and thus into the fall seeds. On the fifth day of the festival the participants drank a special grain mixture called kykeon (a symbol of Persephone) in an attempt to assimilate the spirit of the goddess. The idea was to produce an incarnated blessing of fertility, both of crops and children.

About this same time certain women called "antleriai" were cleansed in the sea and sent down into the mountainside trenches to recover the sacrificial piglets and various other sacred objects that had been thrown into the hillside canyons several days before. The sacred objects included dough replicas of snakes and genitalia, which were burned with the piglets and a grain-seed-mixture, as an offering to Demeter.

The reason for casting of the piglets into the mountainside cliffs has been thoroughly debated and no single interpretation has emerged as final authority. While mystical representations can be made of the symbology, and the dough replicas are obviously fertility symbols, pigs blood was sacred to the gods and thus the piglets are key to understanding the ritual.

Greeks venerated pigs because of their uncanny ability to find, and unearth, underground items (roots, etc). Some scholars conclude from this that the ritual casting of the pigs "into the deep" was a form of imitative magic based on the underworld myth of Persephone and Hades. That is to say, casting the piglets into the deep canyon trenches, and fetching them out again, represented the descent of Persephone into the underworld and her subsequent return to the surface of the earth.

The piglets in the trenches may also have served the practical purpose of supplying a host (body) for Persephone to occupy until the antleriai women could assist her (by retrieving the piglets) in her annual escape from the underworld. Burning the piglets later that night would, according to the ancient religious idea that fire passes the soul from one location to another, free the spirit of Persephone into the upperworld (compare children sacrificed to Baal who "passed through the fire" from the physical world into the spiritual).

Yet the New Testament position seems to be that such pagan rituals were the worship of demons. "The things which the Gentiles sacrifice," Paul said, "they sacrifice to devils..." (1 Corinthians 10:20).

This makes one wonder if a connection between the ritual casting of the piglets into the deep canyon trenches (representing a descent into hell), and the biblical story of the Gadarene demoniac, existed.

Consider Luke, chapter Eight:

"And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes....And when he [Jesus] went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils....When he [the demoniac] saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not"....And Jesus asked him, saying, "What is thy name?" And he said, "Legion:" because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep [emphasis added]. And there was there an herd of swine [emphasis added] feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea [emphasis added], and were choked." (Luke 8:26-33)

The word deep in this text is Abussos (the Abyss), and refers to the underworld Bottomless Pit. Since the principle elements of the sea, the swine, and the deep were employed; and since the Abyss (part of the underworld) was central to the narrative; and further since the cult rituals of the Thesmophoria were well known throughout Asia Minor and were considered by the Hebrews to be activity of the devil (the inhabitants of Hades were known as 'Demeter's people,' and Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, was Perserphone's underworld guide during the rituals); one could easily surmise that Jesus was either mocking the Thesmophoria, or revealing to His followers that such rituals were the consort of devils. It may be a stretch to interpret the biblical story in this way, but clearly the similarities and historical proximities are startling, especially given that the demons requested entry into the swine.

Why would demons make such a plea? There are two possible connections with the Thesmophoria: 1) the demons believed that by entering the swine they could escape the underworld deep (as in the magical Persephone escape ritual described above); and 2) Jesus, by granting the request of the devils, was illustrating that the Thesmophoria ritual of casting piglets into the deep was inherently demonic. Obviously there are other possible interpretations of the narrative. Yet since this is the only record of Jesus granting the petition of demons, it seems possible that a powerful social commentary on a popular pagan idea, like the Thesmophoria of Demeter, was made by Christ.

Once upon a time there was this Titan that escaped Hell

Hecate, the Titan earth-mother of the wizards and witches, illustrates, perhaps better than Demeter, the connection between sky, earth, underworld, and the realm of evil supernaturalism.

As the daughter of Perses and Asteria, Hecate (Hekate) was the only Titan to remain free under Zeus. She was the mother of the wizard, Circe, and the witch, Medea. She characterized the unknown and night-terrors that roamed the abandoned and desolate highways.

Hecate was often depicted as a young maiden with three faces, each pointing in a different direction, a role in which she was the earth-spirit that haunted wherever three paths joined. As the "goddess of three forms" she was Luna (the moon) in heaven, Diana (Artemis) on earth, and Hecate of the underworld.

At midnight, Hecate's devotees would leave food offerings at intersections for the goddess ('Hecate's Supper'), and, once deposited, quickly exit without turning around or looking back. Sometimes the offerings consisted of honey cakes and chicken hearts, while at other times, puppies, honey, and female black lambs were slaughtered for the goddess and her strigae (strigae were deformed owl-like affiliates of Hecate who flew through the night feeding on the bodies of unattended babies. During the day, they appeared as simple old women, folklore that may account for the history of flying witches. The same hid amidst the leaves of the trees during the annual festival of Hecate, held on August 13, when Hecate’s followers offered up the highest praise of the goddess).

Hecate’s devotees celebrated festivals near Lake Averna in Campania where the sacred willow groves of the goddess stood, and they communed with the tree spirits (earth spirits, including Hecate, were thought to inhabit trees) and summoned the souls of the dead from the mouths of nearby caves. It was here that Hecate was known as Hecate-Chthonia ("Hecate of the earth"), a depiction in which she most clearly embodied the popular earth-mother-spirit that conversed through the cave-stones and sacred willow trees.

Yet Hecate had other, more revealing names, and these are the subject of our interest for the time being. These included: 1) Hecate-Phosphoros ( "The Light Bearer" [recalling another powerful underworld spirit whose original name was Lucifer, "the light bearer"]); and 2) Hecate-Propylaia ( "The One Who Guards The Gate").

Ancient deities known as "light bearers" guarding gates?

Bible scholars agree that sky, sea, and physical earth contain spiritual forces behind barriers or 'gates'. In the Book of Revelation, chapter nine and verse fourteen, we read of "the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates." Likewise, in Job 26:5, the literal Hebrew translation says, "The Rafa (fallen angels) are made to writhe from beneath the waters." Additional biblical references indicate that the subsurface earth is a prison or holding tank where God has bound certain fallen entities. (2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6) That such spirits might seek to move beyond their confines through human intervention or invitation, is defined in Scripture. The Hebrew people were warned not to communicate with spirits seeking to emerge from darkness ( Deut. 18:11), and, as an example, when the witch of Endor communicated with the same, they ascended up from "out of the earth" (1 Sam. 28:13).

Based on such scriptures, it seems reasonable that an intelligent, functioning dynamic exists beyond or behind mythology, which according to Christian doctrine is identical with legions of fallen spiritual forces held within spiritual boundaries. It also appears that, by invitation, they can "ascend" or transcend these gateways, presenting themselves as 'light bearers' or angels of light (2 Cor. 11:14).

Following an interview with Stephen Quayle this last week, I received substantial email from people wanting to know more about my book The Ahriman Gate and the subject of inter-dimensional doorways. Some wondered of "metaphysical" stargates where astral soul projection could occur while others had questions about etheric energy alignments between points in interstellar space allowing vibrational energies to pass through distances of space along the space-time continuum. This is what I was talking about from the moment I mentioned time-dimensional doorways, and the entities that can and do move through them. Since the beginning of time and on every continent of the world the record bears the frightening image of those who often come through:

Earthquakes, Solar Flares, Hurricanes, War, & The Coming Of An E.T. Savior!

Redemption 'from heaven' ingrained in human psyche

By Thomas Horn
Senior RNU News Reporter – (Raiders News Update) – The Bible says in the last days that Jesus Christ "...shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

In a subsequent letter to the Thessalonians, Paul stated that this glorious appearing "in the clouds" would happen at a time of distress, when a great "falling away" was occurring and when a spirit of antichrist walked the earth. Earthquakes, hurricanes, war, and strange activity on the Sun would likewise portend the transpiration.

In other words, a time like now.

Though I doubt the prophet articulated the cyclical effect of man's psychological need of a savior during times of trouble, the pattern is as old as time and one of the most pervasive and enduring cultural phenomenon. When the world as we know it appears to be in trouble, we look skyward for divine intervention.

Given the current state of global affairs, maybe this is why last week a series of strange lights moving through the upper atmosphere over Thomasville, Alabama, caused Alex Cassity, described by The Times as "a God-fearing man", to think it was the second-coming. “It was really something,” he said. “but my first thought was, the Lord’s coming!” The lights over Alabama turned out to be flares from a military jet, but Cassity's reaction has become typical, and not just among Christians.

Many religions have at least one apocalyptic myth describing the end of the world accompanied by a "savior" who appears in the sky at the last minute to rescue the "chosen" from annihilation or wrath. Mayans, Assyrians, Egyptians and Greeks held similar beliefs. Hopi prophecy talks of a time of great destruction, when their lands will be preserved as "a blue star, far off and invisible, makes its appearance." Today, even factions of the New Age look for a techno-savior to appear in the clouds to save mankind from itself.

But what about that little warning Paul included to the Thessalonians

"... that day shall not come, except... that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Predominant among church scholars is the idea that coupled with any heavenly appearing and concurrent salvation of believers from chaos, will be the materialization of a false Christ or "man of sin." This is a line in the sand for many Christians, dividing them from persons of different faith who also look to the skies for redemption. Where Hopi see a blue star, and others see returning ancient astronauts, Christians worry that any belief not consistent with their own might open a door for Antichrist to assume the role of an end times false Messiah by mimicking the return of Christ.

While the aforementioned may seem at first to be the insignificant differences of religious ideology, the effect (at least currently) is felt in everything from interpersonal social relationships to government policy. Recently the US Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice actually told sufferers of Hurricane Katrina to hold on - that "the Lord is going to come on time, if we just wait!"

As tensions continue to build around the world, nowhere is the conflict regarding the imminent appearing of a descending savior more glaring than among Christian and secular Ufologists. While some on both sides resist combining religious and cosmological significance with Extraterrestrial intelligence, others hold to the opposite position, esoterically and biblically, and maybe there is a good reason.

Earliest histories from around the world speak of significant involvement by a "super-intelligence" involved in the origin of the species with promises by this Creator to return someday. Secular and religious Ufologists point to the universal documentation as a record of "heavenly beings" visiting earth and engaging in a process leading to hominid creation and therefore the first civilizations. When the Sumerians first appeared, following the event described above, they brought with them a pantheon of sky deities, the first written language, and a superior knowledge of the cosmos. Post Sumerian myth held that powerful beings with names like "Zeus" and "Apollo" had visited the earth, intermarried with women, and fathered half-human children. In 1986, Christian college professor I.D.E. Thomas combined this mythos with modern Ufology, claiming that a race of anti-God warriors were approaching the earth from "out there" and bringing with them Armageddon. Evangelical apologists since flooded the market with dire warnings of a false Messiah who they said will first appear "in the heavens" to set about deceiving the world.

The words of Paul again

"And then shall that Wicked [one] be revealed....whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders" (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9).

These "lying wonders" according to one theory are flying saucers that will be piloted by creatures who appear to be advanced humanoids, but who are in fact evil supernaturalism on a quest to conquer and destroy the creation of God.

Surprisingly, secular Ufologists are partially to blame for advancing this "evil flying geniuses" theory. In some cases they too postulate interaction between humans and ET as malevolent. Whitley Streiber, author of "Communion" and other books on the subject, once wrote: "There are worse things than death, I suspected. And I was beginning to get the distinct impression that one of them had taken an interest in me. So far the word demon had never been spoken among the scientists and doctors who were working with me. And why should it have been? We were beyond such things. We were a group of atheists and agnostics, far too sophisticated to be concerned with such archaic ideas as demons and angels."

Professor Elizabeth L. Hillstrom in her book "Testing the Spirits" says that a growing number of academics have concluded that UFOnauts are synonymous with historical demonism. "Vallee’s explanation of UFOs is the most striking," she said, "because of its parallels with demonic activity. UFO investigators have noticed these similarities. Vallee himself, drawing from extrabiblical literature on demonic activities, establishes a number of parallels between UFOnauts and demons....Pierre Guerin, a UFO researcher and a scientist associated with the French National Council for Scientific Research, is not so cautious: 'The modern UFOnauts and the demons of past days are probably identical.' Veteran researcher John Keel, who wrote UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse and other books on the subject, comes to the same conclusion: 'The UFO manifestations seem to be, by and large, merely minor variations of the age-old demonological phenomenon."

In conclusion: Whereas Ufologists of various creed may disagree on the meaning of particular ET phenomenon, both assert language that defines UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence in angeological and demonological terms including rhetoric about the origin of the species as well as promises by the Creator to return "in the heavens" at the end of time. Given the prophetic condition of the world today, does anyone doubt why so many look for "UFOs" to render the grand entry of an extraterrestrial 'savior'? Or will Jesus Himself don the morning sky? Time will tell, but more and more people are looking to the clouds for the imminent arrival of an extraterrestrial redeemer.

Interview With Thomas Horn, Controversial Author of The Ahriman Gate

How does one go from exorcist to ufologist? I found Tom Horn to be an interesting man; an enigma who assuredly knows more than he's saying. Though right now he's saying a lot!

By Joe Peterson
RNU News Special Report

JP: Tom, thank you for agreeing to do this interview.

TH: Certainly, Joe, you're welcome, glad to do it.

JP: Well, I was very interested after hearing you on radio recently. The fact that a conservative with your credentials was willing to talk about UFOs, life on other planets, government coverup, it was a bit of a surprise. I want to ask you the hard questions, but first, give us a little background if you will as to why you are talking about this now.

TH: Let me begin at my childhood. My father grew up riding fence lines for the Bard Ranch, the largest open range cattle ranch in those days with tens of thousands of open acres. Consequently, Dad knew the Arizona desert like the back of his hand. After returning from the Korean War, he took a job as a policeman in the small town of El Mirage, Arizona. Years later he worked with Dell Webb, who built Las Vegas, and as you know the Mafia was tied in to all of that in those days. Dad stayed with Webb for twenty-five years or more, building Youngtown and then Sun City.

JP: I heard you start to say something about this on radio the other night and then the host cautioned you about it. Is this where you think your dad became a connected man, through the Dell Webb corporation?

TH: I can only speculate on that. But it was about this time that Dad, who loved to deer hunt, made an amazing discovery. Several large and spherical craters, perhaps twenty feet across and eight feet deep, were discovered in an unexplored section of the range where he was hunting. The cavities were so precise that it looked as if an enormous white-hot ball had routered into the rock. The finish on the walls was such that rainwater filled the orbs. The sides of the holes were slick and each pool contained deer that had fallen in and drowned while attempting to drink the water. Dad took pictures, including the one I gave you where the curvature of the hole is distorted by a bend in the old photo. He showed the pictures to the family and I remember being especially impressed, and later he led a representative of the Army Corps of Engineers to the location. The origin of the craters was never determined, and the Corps of Engineers dynamited the pools with rock to protect the wildlife. The Phoenix Gazette or another paper ran an article on the baffling holes, reprinted photographs of my father kneeling beside the orbs, and that seemed to be the end of the story.

JP: But it wasn't.

TH: Not at all. On November 5, 1975, along the northeastern ridge of that mountain range, Travis Walton stepped out of his pick-up to look at what he called a glowing object. According to the report, while a crew of loggers waited nearby, Travis approached the UFO and was jolted by an energy wave. As his companions fled in terror, Travis was taken on-board the so-called alien spacecraft and subjected to a variety of physical examinations. His story, Fire in the Sky, was made into a motion picture. Supposedly it's the best documented account of a UFO abduction ever recorded. I don't know if Walton’s story was true or if there was a connection between his experience and my father's earlier discovery in the same area.

JP: But immediately after this event, things got weird at your home.

TH: According to my mother, who by the way didn't believe in anything about UFOs or aliens...

JP: Let me interrupt. As I understand it, there was no discussion at anytime in your family before or after these events about aliens.

TH: Absolutely not. First of all, we're talking over forty years ago. There was no consensus back then about alien abduction or any widespread characterizations of alien Greys. Secondly, we were a very old fashioned Pentecostal Christian home. We weren't allowed to watch TV, go to movies, any of that. We'd have gotten spanked for even mentioning such absurd ideas! [Tom laughs]

JP: Yet something very unusual started happening right after your dad's discovery.

TH: Yes. As I started to say, according to Mom, my aunt who lived a few doors down from us came to the house one day. She was ashen white, visibly shaken, wanting to know what the 'thing' was that had been hovering above our house. Mom went outside and nothing was there.

JP: Your aunt described it as a shiny circular object.

TH: That's right.

JP: And following this?

TH: A few nights later, and I still remember this vividly, I was shook from bed by the sound of my sister screaming. Horrible, terrifying screaming. Everybody in the house jumped out of bed and ran to her room. She was sitting up in bed, and the look on her face, it was unlike anything I've seen since. Mom stayed with her that night. Put a Bible under her pillow, anointing cloths on her and prayed with her. Some time later Mom told me that my sister had woke that night and saw small, bulbous-headed Grey men standing around her bed.

JP: You said in one interview that your Mom's prayers made a difference in keeping the small men away.

TH: They certainly appeared to. I draw this conclusion because over the next forty years the phenomenon happened over and over and whenever prayer was made, the event would stop for a while.

JP: Then start over again.

TH: Yes.

JP: Is this why you place a spiritual element on this activity, whatever it is?

TH: That's one part of it. Remember, I pastored for over twenty years and was an evangelist for some time too.

JP: Wasn't you connected to Trinity Broadcasting and those people at the time?

TH: Uh-huh, had my own television and radio program. Yet even during those years I investigated my sister's phenomenon through the filter of my conservative upbringing and found that there are many layers to the abduction phenomenon. I concluded that the experience is real is some cases, but how do you interpret it? It's at least as complex as the physical world.

JP: Weren't you also an exorcist for the church?

TH: In evangelical Christianity it's different than the Catholic Church. We don't refer to ourselves the same way, but yes, I performed exorcism.

JP: And you were in the Assemblies of God, right?

TH: Yes. Still hold credentials with them. In fact I'm currently doing some consulting work for them at the State level.

JP: The Assemblies of God is the biggest evangelical organization in the world, right?

TH: Used to be. Probably still are.

JP: What do they think about your book and research?

TH: I'm considered a maverick, but in good standing. I had lunch with the State Superintendent and the district Finance Manager last week and the Sup told me he had read The Ahriman Gate.

JP: What did he think of it.

TH: [Tom laughs again] Well, he said my wife and I were very good writers and had kept him very engaged. Then I said, "Okay, so what's the rub?" and he admitted that the Nephilim stuff scared him. He also admitted, as did the finance manager, that the church is woefully unprepared to answer the questions and ramifications raised by my research.

JP: As a matter of fact, this is partly how you started down this road years ago, right.

TH: Right. I was pastoring near Roseburg, Oregon and started noticing that the emerging definitions of so-called alien abduction bore an amazing resemblance to what my sister had experienced throughout her lifetime. In many cases, the story that people around the world were telling was identical to what my family had kept under wraps for decades.

JP: I heard that. Your family never talked about this.

TH: Oh no, no way.

JP: Why?

TH: Lots of reasons. You didn't want people to think you were crazy. Also there wasn't anybody in the church to go to. They would just think you were mentally unstable or demon possessed.

JP: But haven't you come to that conclusion yourself, that demonism is part of alien abduction?

TH: In some cases what is defined as alien abduction parallels historic demonic activity. Even guys like Vallee make this connection. Again, think about this phenomenon as being as complex as the physical world. Many, many layers and attributes. My niece, who was a federal employee for the Social Security division, has had similar experiences and sent me the picture I showed you of what could be the first photographic evidence of an alien Grey standing half inside the frame and looking directly at the camera.

JP: Which brings up the question of generational abduction of your sister and now her daughter. Is the daughter also a Christian?

TH: Yes.

JP: And didn't she get approached by Steven Spielberg's people during the 'Taken' Television series?

TH: She was in Seattle to see a football game with friends. Before the game she was at the Space Needle with her husband, and they got lost. From out of nowhere, a well-dressed man and woman approached them and said, "Come with us, you've been chosen." The man looked military - tall, crew cut hair, firm disposition, and the woman was equally disposed. Both wore 'passes' around their necks with bar-codes on them. After a brief conversation it was learned that the two people worked with Stephen Spielberg. A promotional tent had been set up across the street to promote the television special, 'Taken', about alien abductees. My niece and her husband were excited and agreed to be 'interviewed' in exchange for promotional gifts. Once inside the tent, which was guarded, only those chosen by Spielberg could get in, my niece was asked bizarre questions about her health, dreams, and so on. She learned that the ball stadium was an exact replica of the Close Encounters of the Third Kind Receiving Center. The group of people were led into a room and told to form a circle and hold hands. The lights went out and the room felt like it was twirling around and around, fog filled the room, bright lights flooded in, and a voice said, "You have just been abducted." Different things went on that I'll not take time to explain. Finally my niece was examined and selected by Spielberg as one of two people in Oregon that had likely been abducted. They took her to another room and showed her Spielberg's private collection of authentic 'implants', metallic objects taken from the bodies of abductees.

JP: I understand Dr. Roger Leir - the alien implant researcher - wants copies of these Spielberg implants.

TH: He's asked for them and I've agreed to send them to him.

JP: Getting back to the subject, why now? After all these years, why write a book and go on radio and in other media talking about this?

TH: On December 23, 2002 I was interviewed on American Freedom Network News. Rick Wiles had read an editorial I wrote about the roll that popular films were playing in conditioning culture for a new religion, an ET religion and New Age universalism that would eventually displace traditional Christianity. Toward the end of the one-hour broadcast, Rick ask what would happen if the leaders of the world walked out into the well of the United Nations with ET and made formal official disclosure. His opinion was that it would shake organized Christianity from its foundations and open the door for Antichrist. I agreed, and pointed out how the leaders of the Church, including those I respected and worked with, had their heads intentionally in the sand and were refusing to seriously calculate the theological and philosophical ramifications, leaving their adherents at risk.

JP: Doesn't this go back to the numbers that simply don't believe in UFOs and the related matter?

TH: What numbers? See, Joe, this is the irony in all of this, and I made this point with the Superintendent the other day too. Over 90% of the worlds population believe in God, but almost that many believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence too. So what numbers? A tiny 10% of the population setting the discussion format for the vast majority? What could be more relevant? If I was still pastoring and I knew that eight out of every ten people in my church believed both in God and ET, wouldn't I have some responsibility to provide legitimate answers to these people, my flock, when their questions about ET, God, cosmology came up? This is one of the reasons people are turning to the New Age adherents, because whether you agree with them or not, they are providing answers and people need answers. The church needs to wake up and consider these facts theologically and philosophically.

JP: Sure, but for you, there's more to this I believe.

TH: Yeah, well, I got off track again. So... there I was, being interviewed on the growing possibilities of official disclosure, and we finished the show and a few days later I got a call from Bob Liparulo wanting to know if he could interview me and use my research information for a feature article he had been hired to write for New Man Magazine - The Gospel According to Star Wars.

JP: You're talking about Robert Liparulo?

TH: Yeah, the author of 'Comes A Horseman' that's coming out next month.

JP: I read something about that.

TH: He's an award-winning author but he also used to be a celebrity journalist. He interviewed guys like Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Charlton Heston for major magazines. Last week in fact he emailed me to let me know the movie rights to his book 'Comes a Horseman' have been optioned to Mace Neufeld, the Hollywood producer that did the movie versions of Tom Clancy’s books like 'The Sum of All Fears', 'Clear and Present Danger', 'Patriot Games', and some others.

JP: So when a guy like that calls, you take the call.

TH: I was happy to do it. But the important point is that the interview with Rick Wiles, the editorials I had written for some major US press, the interview with Liparulo, the New Man Magazine feature story, all of this was almost immediately followed by the old friend of Dad's contacting me. Somehow the high profile comments had rang a bell, and he was in a position to know facts from fiction.

JP: Phobos?

TH: That's what I call him.

JP: And?

TH: He said he had top-down information on what I was talking about. He was a family friend, I hadn't heard from him in years, so we set up a meeting and there have been dozens of meetings since.

JP: You call Phobos a family friend, and I know some of the information he gave you was inserted into the fiction of your new novel, interesting that you did that, but do you really know this guy? Couldn't he be playing you as a disinformation agent?

TH: It's complicated. First, let me say this. After my parents were divorced when I was a teenager, I came home one day and there was this Latin woman in our house. It looked like she had been branded, burned with a mark above one breast. I overheard my Uncle Hubert, who was there, talking to my dad about her being a Mafia Prostitute. Later that week I rode with my dad to the Phoenix airport where we put her on a plane. A couple days later there was this newspaper among my dad's stuff at the house with just a picture of this woman's head on it, and a headline that said something like, "Does Anybody Know This Woman?". I learned years later that she was a Mob prostitute with special information. Dad was keeping her at our home as a safe house, then sending her somewhere in California to meet with somebody over something I know nothing about. She never made it. Just her head was found along a California road. I remember listening in as my dad phoned somebody whose name I won't mention, and this guy took care of things so that dad would not be hurt. So when you ask if Phobos could be using me as a disinfo agent, this is far too complicated to answer in a setting like this. These are connected guys with different responsibilities and agendas. But Phobos has been straight with me, on both sides of the value of info and disinfo.

JP: Disinfo is valuable? In what way?

TH: In many ways. Disinformation is a tool. It can control the flow of information by crediting then discrediting then re-crediting and discrediting.

JP: What?

TH: You know, there has to be a mechanical method for controlling how fast the public assimilates specific information. The military and sophisticated governments use disinformation as a tool for hundreds of years to regulate the pace at which people learn the truth. It's a process of gradualism. Throw something out there that sounds shocking, watch the public reaction, reel in their imaginations by discrediting the sources, then start the process over again. Over time the laws of redundancy, like the boy crying wolf, take over. People hear about it for so long that they become dull to the idea. Finally, when you reveal it as true, everybody reacts like it is old news, not shocking at all, even expected, anticipated.

JP: I don't think anybody would react to official ET disclosure as old news.

TH: Yet polling shows that a vast majority of people are ready to accept the idea now, so the back and forth of info/disinfo played its part over the last fifty years in preparing the world for the specific eventuality.

JP: So... are you admitting that you are a disinfo agent?

TH: I'm not admitting that at all. Look. If a spy carries a half dozen sets of visas, all with different names, does this mean his work is illegitimate? Absolutely not. Disinfo in this sense is a necessary tool to protect his identity in the course of official work. Actors do the same thing all the time, checking into motels using disinformation so that they will be left alone. Government and military schools teach the principles of disinformation under a wide array of applications, and there is no doubt that wars have been won using the principle.

JP: And this is part of official alien disclosure.

TH: Certainly, has to be.

JP: Nevertheless you think you know that date, don't you.

TH: In close proximity.

JP: And it is?

TH: [laughter] You're crazy, right!?

JP: Not even a hint?

TH: I already did that, and it nearly got me in big trouble!

JP: Yeah, I saw the log on and the radio signal jamming. Government and military traces big time. Didn't that worry you.

TH: No.

JP: Why?

TH: There is a side, a part of the government and military that want disclosure now.

JP: Uh, okay, and you see yourself there. So what about ET reality, Is that part of the coming picture too?

TH: Tell you what, Joe, give me the rest of your questions in Yes and No-s and I'll try to answer them.

JP: Can you tell me, is ET reality part of the future, yes or no?

TH: Yes.

JP: Do you define some of the ET reality as demonic?

TH: Yes.

JP: All of it?

TH: No.

JP: Artificial structures off world?

TH: Yes.

JP: Any hard evidence? Pictures, film, materials on hand?

TH: Yes, yes, and yes.

JP: Disclosure this year?

TH: [smiles]
